; Home CinemaLike many other people I love a good night out at the movies where I can sit and stuff popcorn into my mouth whilst watching the latest Hollywood blockbuster. When the lights dim and the sound levels are suitably adjusted there`s a certain air of eager anticipation that fills the atmosphere. If I could create this atmosphere in my own home then I might enjoy my time in front of the television a little more. At the moment we are running a 32` inch CRT television but we are hoping to change that in the very near future. What I`d like is a stunning Home Cinema set up that would wow any visitor to the dwelling. I`ve looked on certain websites and enquired about what could be done and the choices, it seems, are endless depending on the budget. Customers can have full Home Cinema rooms built if they like, or existing space can be transformed to accommodate the Home Cinema system. It`s pretty amazing at what can be achieved as plasma televisions can be discreetly hidden behind picture frames and mirrors, or projector screens can slowly lower from the ceiling. Speakers can be recessed into the ceiling or the walls and lighting can be used in an intelligent manner to enhance the viewing pleasure. I wouldn`t have to pop to my local multiplex if I had such a fabulous audio visual setup of my own.
London Sound And VisionMy mum often tells the story about the Queen`s Coronation and how they had acquired a television set for the ceremony. Apparently the entire street was crowded into my Gran and Grandad`s house as no one else had such a luxury. Times have certainly changed and many households within the UK now have numerous televisions within them. In fact, the Sound and Vision within the home has become a status symbol and people want the best equipment that money can buy. Home cinema systems have become extremely popular and they utilise equipment like plasma televisions or screens onto which projectors can be played. Multi room setups can be established so that all types of Sound and Vision and can be enjoyed in lounges, dining rooms, kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms. One person could be soaking in the bath listening to their favourite tunes whilst another is watching Jamie Oliver as they prepare the evening meal. The kids could be in the den watching cartoons and it will all be possible because of the modern London Sound And Vision equipment in London. Nothing is impossible these days as plasma screens can be concealed behind paintings or mirrors and speakers can be recessed into walls. Even the lighting can be manipulated so that the viewing is more enjoyable once the Sound and Vision equipment is brought to life.
ProjectorsI`ve been hankering for my own home cinema for sometime now and I really fancy having a screen that lowers from the ceiling with one of those Projectors that can be discreetly hidden from view. It`s possible to have virtually anything that you like when it comes to audio visual installations these days. All types of interiors can be turned into rooms that tastefully provide the perfect place to watch movies and television programmes from. I recently looked at an installation that had been carried out in a London home. They had a screen that slid silently into position from the ceiling and a projector that was hidden away behind a wall unit. At the press of a button the screen came down and a panel on the wall unit slid open to reveal the projector which was ready to start playing. I thought to myself that this was such a clever way to utilise one of the Projectors and it`s made me more determined than ever to get my home cinema up and running. I can just see one of the Projectors in my lounge perhaps upon its very own shelf. I do like the idea of concealing the unit and certainly would like to consider this option if it were possible in my home.
